Affirmative Action at work.
UglyBlackJohn - Ha Ha. Never thought about it like that. So is it Affirmative Action in a good way??
maybe she had a good personality
Okay, I'm going to go there.
First things first though.
She probably won fair and square, not alleging anything on that level, but dammit, this is the same thing as these random ass white people from South Africa claiming "African American" and the rest of us think that's good logic.
Say it with me: Aff-ree-kun.
Them jokers are of Danish descent and are European.
Say it with me: You-roh-pee-uhn.
He was a European African if anything, and living here he's a European American. I mean seriously, if that hoe wins the Miss National Black Alumni ish in Atlanta I'ma need for someone to stand up and say "Hell nah" the hoe aint black.
Anonymous - Apparently she did based on the votes.
Uppity Negro - I guess you aren't going to keep her picture in Ebony as a collectors item. ha ha ha ha
Very interesting story. I wonder if grads of of HBIs would rather their alma maters become "more diverse" (= less Black) or risk extinction?
PPR Scribe - I think that is going to be the trend. HBCU's are going to have to do something that they never thought they would do. Compete for students. What sound appealing to a white student.. Loans from state school or scholarship from an HBCU. Like the newspaper industry HBCU's should have seen this coming.
