The United Kingdom beat Chris Brown worse than Rihanna ever could.

The U.K. is putting the brakes on Chris Brown’s European Tour by denying him entry. To an Entertainer, this is the cruelest cut of all. Not only is he not performing but he is losing out on money. The reason for the denied entry is due to his criminal record. When you beat out rappers for most criminal behavior you are really doing something. Ole Dirty Bastard, from the Wu Tang Clan, wasn’t ever kicked out of a country. Mystikal just got out of jail and I bet he could catch a plane to London. Concert promoters would probably say that Brown got caught up in “unforeseen circumstances." I say not really!! I believe Brown should have apologized and went straight to rehab from the jump. I know he wants people to forgive and to forget. But he needs to realize that people won’t forget on the timeline he has set up. It’s going to be when they are good and ready.

the UK's statement was that "each criminal case is based on it's own individual merits". i call BS, as like you said, plenty of performers go there with previous arrests and/or convictions.

i don't condone what chris brown did in any way--when it gets to the point that you are biting someone (as he did to rihanna) that is the sign of a serious problem. but how many of us know that if someone glanced at our shenanigans between 18 and 22 years of age we would be more than crazy embarrassed? and don't front.

i think for the most part, people forget that chris brown was, and still is, a boy. he makes immature ad irrational decisions because he has been in a bubble since a very young age, and the people that were protecting him in that bubble are no longer there. and he is not handling things well on his own...pretty much "caught out there".

just like anyone else, he needs to make money, but for the time being, he may need to go about it another way. and just like anyone he needs to learn from his mistakes. fast.

If they are really looking at each criminal case individually, I'm not sure how they could explain this one. How is Chris Brown a danger to the citizens of their country? He was convicted of domestic violence. I imagine T.I. could go over there even though he was convicted on weapons charges. I wish Charlotte WOULD say Chris Brown can't come here because of his criminal background. . .

I was cracking up when I heard he couldn't travel, then I thought about all the people that this affects. All the crews and behind the scenes people that aren't going to get paid. Maybe they should let him in, so he can pay his folks and then take his cut and send it to a womens battered shelter.

Invisible Woman - You have a point! Sure we were all young once. But as "regular" people our business is not out in the street. Because of that we can hide behind our anonymity and only a few people or no one knows what we did. Some of us probably would have been kicked out of the U.S. if they knew what we did...ha ha

BluAssassin - Foxx is Mayor now so maybe they might let him in...ha ha

Redbonegirl97 - Chris Brown's Entourage better get some part time work until this clears up.

I was so against this man child when he did what he did, but I'm over it. I think he's learned and suffered. His team needs to get let go. He needs to work with new people.

I wish I knew the boy personally, wish I was his advisor and manager, he'd have been back in business a long time ago. I actually feel sorry for him.

Nik - For him to get new people he would have to give up the folks that tell him what he wants to hear. That's hard when you live in a bubble. I do think a womans touch would probably do the trick.

Wow, at least the U.K. will stand up against someone who has done harm to a Black woman.

And I'm wondering how it is that anyone could consider Chris Brown a boy? Please.

To paraphrase Bubbles of The Wire, "some people be equivocating like a motherfu*ker".
