The National Nightmare Is Over

The 8 year dictatorship of President George W. Bush will be coming to an end next year. I can’t say that I am going to miss the guy. Most people I know, i.e. Black Folks, hate George Bush’s guts. I don’t think he is the devil as some people say. I just think that he was under qualified to be President. He lacks the intellectual skill set to be the leader of a country. That’s one of the things I like about President Barack Obama. He knows what he knows and he knows what he doesn’t know. Obama doesn’t make “gut” decisions based on personal feelings. He believes in surrounding himself with knowledgeable advisors. I don’t know what the future holds but it should be something to see. For now though… the National Nightmare is over.

Masterful - that's the only way I can describe the Obama campaign.

As far as experience and qualified for the job, I woke up this morning as I heard the talking heads talking about Obama's myriad of staff choices from a)the White House staff b)the Cabinet and the Sub-cabinet members c)his Dept. of Justice appointees as far as the U.S. Attorneys and U.S. Court judges--DATS A LOT!

And for a weird reason, I asked myself was he qualified and experienced enough for the job. I got nervous wondering that he can't afford to make a mistake.

Then I remembered how George Bush survived for the last 8 years--mistake after mistake--but he had a qualified staff.

Hopefully Rahm Emmanuel would be the Democratic answer to Karl Rove.

Some prayer and patience and I think he will be okay. He is going to have to watch what he says though....

Poor Georgie.. When Jan 20th gets here he is really going to get how much people don't like him. It's kinda sad actually.
