Texting in the name of love

Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick, “The Ladies Favorite Superdelegate", was charged with perjury and obstruction of justice due to a contradiction in a sworn court testimony. His woman on the side, former Chief of Staff Christine Beatty, was also charged for the same thing. Reading from my Legal Aid for Dummies book: Basically the two lied about having sex with each other.

They probably would have never been caught if Kwame had not texted Christine on his city-owned phone. For a guy that calls himself the “Hip Hop Mayor” he sure is dumb. Season 5 of The Wire showed you that text messages could be tapped.

I know this kat wasn't about to starting crying.

And why is it that all I could hear him saying to America was "how sorry Black men are" - ??? (Maybe I'm over looking it, but when CNN replayed that clip, that is what I saw. I saw less of Kwame, and more of simply, a Black American man.)

Lastly... both his wife and his mistress seem to be particularly tall...

Better get all the loving he can get now -- 40 years (for lieing about sex) is a long time.
