Canadian Measha Brueggergosman, soprano singer, performed the Olympic Hymn at Friday Nights Opening Ceremony of the 2010 Olympic Games. Pretty good for someone that just had open-heart surgery last year and could have possibly died. Listen to her here.

Thanks CO. I saw her Friday night but I didn't know who she was.
What an outstanding voice! I love to hear true divas give a performance. I didn't catch her on the telly. But I will certainly be on the lookout for her.
