Like the blues brothers did? ha ha ha.Citizen Ojohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07001825524756033450noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7914710637340292931.post-72296549622426031472009-03-10T14:11:00.000-04:002009-03-10T14:11:00.000-04:00Well, if nothing else, it was an entertaining stor...Well, if nothing else, it was an entertaining story.<BR/><BR/>by the way...yes, I've been playing country-blues and roots music professionally for the last ten years (in CA) or so, covering blues, ragtime, gospel, jug-band, etc. I'm a singer and harmonica player (Sonny Terry & Noah Lewis are two of my biggest influences) that also plays the jug, kazoo, spoons and washtub bass. <BR/><BR/>Although, the last year or so I've gotten more into late 50's/early 60's gospel music and hope to put another band together eventually that reflects the hard gospel styles of The Highway QC's, The Staple Singers, Swan Silvertones, Dorothy Love Coates, etc. We'll see what happens.<BR/><BR/>Take care.
